You can see from the Gallery page that I’ve been a tad busy this last 12 months! – as the wedding year draws to a (well, almost, I have 2 more in December!) I’m taking a moment for reflection on some of the wonderful ceremonies that began with a Skype call……
It all started this year with the gorgeous Hazel & Clavi @PendrellHall in February. Most of our meetings were conducted via Skype as this lovely couple live in St. Lucia (not jealous, at all, not even a little bit!) They were a joy to work with and their day turned out to be very special. A blend of cultures and guests from across the world.
Later on in the year I worked with Zoe & Danny, who live in the Cayman Islands, and we didn’t actually meet in person until moments before their ceremony – the wonders of modern technology meant that we felt as if we were friends already 😊
And in June, at the superb @delameremanor I conducted the ceremony for the equally wonderful Rose & Jonny. Their busy lives are over in Abu Dhabi and although we did manage to meet at Delamere Manor before the big day, there was a lot of time zone juggling going on beforehand to arrange our meetings.
Along with an international UK/USA joining hands of Kevin & Stephen, who married @rookeryhall in September, and a forth-coming wedding (big secret this one!) at The Liver Building next month, this year has had a very international flavour- even though I haven’t left the UK! 😊
